Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus has premium features at mid-range price

The Redmi Note 13 series has been officially unveiled by Redmi in China. The lineup consists of a standard model in addition to two professional variants.

These brand-new phones feature significant improvements over their predecessors. Particularly the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus, this sets an unrealistically high standard for the Redmi Note family of products.

The most expensive model has a number of features normally reserved for flagship products. This is a complete departure from the previous representations of the series.

Despite having a price tag that is considered to be in the middle of the pack (about $275), the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus is more of an affordable premium smartphone. Let’s investigate the factors that led to it becoming like this.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus has a curved panel on the rear of the device in addition to a curved display on the front of the device. The back panel may be made of glass or vegan leather, depending on the colour that you select for the device. Also Read – Leaked promo videos feature Samsung Galaxy S23 FE

The glass comes in a variety of colours, including the sophisticated black and white. but the vegan leather version has a finish with four different colours.

All three back cameras are contained within their own individual islands. On the right-hand side of the camera module is where you’ll find the horizontal LED torch as well as the Redmi logo below it.

Lines serve to demarcate each of these three components. On both the Xiaomi 13 series and the Xiaomi 12 series, individual cameras are denoted by lines that look very similar to one another. Also Read – Huawei Nova 11 SE live photos leak, May launch mid-ranger

In addition to that, the display that can be found on the front of the gadget is curved. This display has a hole punched in the middle of it, and the bezels on all sides are very thin.

The right side of the device contains the buttons for power and volume. On the other hand, the SIM card slot and the USB Type-C port can be found near the bottom of the device. There is no socket for headphones, but instead, there is an infrared blaster located on the top of the smartphone. This is a first for a Redmi Note device.

It is the first phone in the Redmi Note series to be released with a curved display, and it is called the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus. It has an OLED display that is 6.67 inches in size and uses C7 luminescent material. Also Read – Huawei Nova 11 SE & OPPO Find N3 to Released in October

A Redmi Note series mobile device is the first to include a screen with a resolution of 1.5K (2712 x 1220 pixels), which is provided by the 12-bit display on the device. The screen boasts a pixel-per-inch (PPI) resolution of 446, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, an immediate touch sampling rate of 2160 Hz, and even a PWM dimming rate of 1920 Hz for eye safety.

Over 100% of the DCI-P3 colour space may be seen on the screen. It is capable of playing content in both HDR10+ and Dolby Vision formats. The normal brightness level is rated at 1200 nits, while the maximum brightness level is listed at 1800 nits.

Last but not least, another first for a Redmi Note handset is that the display itself incorporates a fingerprint sensor directly into its underside. This sensor is so versatile that it can even be used to measure a person’s heart rate.

An IP68 rating makes its debut on a Redmi Note for the very first time with the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus. Because of this, the product is impervious to dirt and water. In theory, it can survive for half an hour submerged in a depth of 1.5 metres of fresh water. Also Read – Leaked Galaxy A05 and A05s schematics expose camera and specs.

Finally, in addition to Xiaomi’s own unique 120W charging protocol, the handset is compatible with USB Power Delivery versions 3.0 and 2.0. It even comes along with a GaN charger in addition to a USB Type-C connection that is double-sided.
