Tunisha Sharma was born in the Indian city of Chandigarh on January 4, 2002. She has wanted to work in movies since she was a little girl. At age 14, she was chosen to play Princess Chand Kanwar in Bharat Ka Veer Putra, which starred Maharana Pratap. She became well-known when she played Princess Ahankara in the Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat.

Sharma is said to have hanged herself on December 24, 2022, on the set of her TV show Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul. She was taken to the hospital immediately, where doctors told her she had died.
