A rumour that was published online not too long ago claims that Samsung has begun distributing an October security update for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 devices.
For the benefit of those who aren’t aware, this company delivered its smartphone with Android 11 pre-installed in August of 2021. Later that year, the smartphone received an update to Android 12; in late 2022, it received an upgrade to Android 13. It is also highly anticipated that the One UI 6.0 upgrade will be made available for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 when it is released.
On the Galaxy Z Flip 3 devices, the update can now be downloaded, however it is only available in certain countries. Countries such as Colombia, Guatemala, Panama, and Trinidad and Tobago are good examples. A build version of F711BXXS6FWI1 is included with the patch when it is downloaded. It is important to note that the patch does not provide any user interface changes or new functionality, as its primary focus is on enhancing the system’s security.
Major security flaws, such as breaches in which the attackers were able to execute hazardous viruses through the Wi-Fi networks, were fixed by Samsung, and the company was able to protect its customers from further harm. Also Read – Oppo Find N3 Flip triple camera teased in India
In addition, the October security update was initially released for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 smartphones, but it is gradually being sent out to a variety of other mobile devices as well. Users who are qualified to receive the update can access the download and installation tools by navigating to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. The manufacturer has not disclosed when the patch would be made accessible in any other nations as of now.
