Melinda Dillon was a visual delight. The stunning actress began her career as an improvisational comedian and theatrical performer. She debuted on Broadway in 1962 in the original production of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? In 1963, Melinda was nominated for a Tony Award for the same role.
Despite the accolade, she left the project after nine months to seek therapy at a psychiatric facility.
